Digital Agriculture
Networking and Interaction
11th Agricultural Science Symposium on October 29, 2020
This year, on October 29th, we will be dedicating ourselves to the topic of "Digital Agriculture - Networking and Interaction".
In agricultural sciences, a wide variety of disciplines are combined to form a complex systems science. Forward-looking key technologies are digitization and data and information management. New digital methods help to capture, understand and manage complex systems.
Intelligent "off-road" vehicle controls and robots have long since conquered a significant place in practical agriculture. The merging of the immense data streams in intelligent databases and their evaluation will not only fundamentally change aspects of production technology, but also the perception of agriculture in politics and society.
As part of the one-day symposium here in Weihenstephan, we want to highlight current research topics in this area with a focus on the aspect of networking different technologies.
