Biography
Claudia Luksch has been working at HEF since 2014, initially as a scientific advisor and since 2018 as managing director and team leader. In addition to her tasks in team management, strategy development and event management, she is responsible for the focus topic Controlled Environment Agriculture/ Vertical Farming at HEF.
She studied biology at the Universities of Mainz and Bonn, during which time she worked as a student trainee at Bayer AG's Crop Protection Center. After working abroad at the Scripps Research Center in San Diego, USA, in the field of immunology, she returned to Germany and worked for several years at Bayer AG in Pharmaceutical Sales and Event Management before moving to TUM in 2009 to take over the coordination of an international graduate school in the field of bioinformatics in cooperation between TUM, LMU and Lomonossov University Moscow. She has completed further training in project management (GPM certificate), quality management (ZDH ZERT) and communication consulting as well as the TUM Science Manager Program.
