TUM again in the lead in agricultural sciences

The "Shanghai Rankings" evaluate the research performance of various subjects at universities worldwide. This year, TUM ranks sixth worldwide in agricultural sciences and once again first in Germany.
TUM conducts research in agricultural sciences, including remote sensing and agri-photovoltaic systems.

Compared to 2024, TUM retains its top position in Germany and climbs two places in the global ranking. Agricultural sciences are thus TUM's best-ranked subject in this year's ranking.

TUM is among the top 50 in the following subjects:

    (1st in Germany)

    (1st in Germany)

The so-called “Shanghai Rankings” refer specifically to university research. Factors such as the number and citation rates of publications are taken into account, as well as international collaboration.
