The workshop begins with keynote speeches by
- Prof. Angelika Schnieke (TUM Chair of Livestock Biotechnology): "Genetic Modifications in Livestock - Overview of Methods"
- dr Peter Doleschel (LfL, Institute for Crop Production and Plant Breeding): "Genetic Engineering Methods in Plant Breeding"
- Prof. Ruth Müller (TUM, Munich Center for Technology in Society): "Genetic engineering methods in agricultural sciences - a social challenge"
This is followed by a workshop to develop teaching concepts in the afternoon.
Cooperation partners for this event are the Ministry of Education (Institute for School Quality and Education in Bavaria/ISB), the Stmelf Management Academy and the TUM school of education. Registration takes place via FIBS (Fortbildung in Bayerischen Schulen).
