The variety of topics was huge and ranged from monitoring soil moisture from space to innovative approaches to cellular agriculture. A particular highlight were the "elevator pitches", in which the participants presented their posters in two minutes - a challenge that was mastered with flying colours by everyone. The poster presentations facilitated intensive discussions and professional exchange.
After the pitches and a series of talks that filled the morning, the symposium also featured an "Insider Insights" panel, in which alumni talked about their career paths outside the university after completing their doctorate. Dr. Josef Bauerdick, Dr. Michael Mederle and Prof. Dr. Franziska Wespel shared their experiences, which was inspiring for the participants.
