HEF member receives Joseph Schepkens Prize for Plant Genetics

The Joseph Schepkens Prize in Plant Genetics, Thirty-third Triennium, was awarded to HEF member Mr. Gerd Patrick Bienert, Professor of Plant Physiology, for his contribution to the characterization of water and metalloid transport in plants.

This prize is awarded every three years to the author of an original experimental work in the field of plant genetics, particularly arable crops, and is reserved for European Union nationals.
