The Agricultural Science Center Weihenstephan is based on a teaching and research cooperation between the Technical University of Munich (TUM), the University of Applied Sciences Weihenstephan-Triesdorf (HSWT) and the Bavarian State Institute for Agriculture (LfL).

The unique spatial and thematic concentration of the three institutions on the Weihenstephan campus provides the basis for bundling competencies in basic, departmental and applied research and thus for intensive cooperation in agricultural science training and research.

Here the bridge is built from basic research to agricultural practice with the aim of realizing a sustainable and environmentally, animal and consumer-friendly production of food and bio-based raw materials.
